I was eyeing off the harness at Asos for some time, but couldn't bare to pay the money. Then when I saw this harness at Topshop, both the black and the brown had already sold out. Looks like I'll be harness-less for the upcoming season :(

I'm really considering those first Asos booties. They're so bad-ass.

Yes those are gravestones in the background. There is a graveyard across the road from Robert's house and on the other end is the train station to get to the city. If you have to start work in the city at 6:45am, its a long, cold, dark and scary walk. And if you're drunk after a night out in the city, its no picnic getting home. I shit myself every time... why is it scary walking through a grave yard at night? I keep telling myself that the dead people aren't going to jump out and grab me but it doesn't help. 

Robert bought this scarf for my birthday. I think he did well. Its so wide and blanket-y.... and I love the colours of the dip-dye. I like to throw it over everything I own in my closet, and just take it off when I get too hot. But it's by far the most expensive accessory I own so I can't just throw it in my bag with all the other crap that lives in there... no matter how tempting. 

The progression of the corset.... today/tomorrow the berlin music festival, tomorrow the next stage of corset making. Hopefully I make it!

I first remember seeing Samantha in the pages of Cosmopolitan about three years ago and thinking "Who is that girl?". The article talked about the potential for her to become the first Aboriginal supermodel... that's pretty amazing. Makes me wish there were more Aboriginal models in Australian campaigns (and international campaigns for that matter). Anyway, I think she's amazing. A truly unique beauty.

Mahaila will know why the photo of the guy with the undercut is so special. About a year ago Mahaila, Robert and I went to the Swan Valley and did some wine tasting. This guy was a wonderful host. After teasing mahaila and I for our infamous "cackle" laugh (<------- its hereditary), and watching us get more and more drunk from his generous tasting portions, he cracked open a bottle of White Monster - a $60 bottle of wine that wasn't due to be released for another year. It was delicious. A bouquet of rose hip and mixed citrus zest (apparently). 

Yesterday Robert and I went to the same winery and were fed generous portions of wine by the same guy. He poured us a glass of the White Monster, and we were two happy little vegemites. We bought some wine, trespassed onto someone's vineyard (<-------Ssshhhhhhhh) and found a little spot in the long grass where we drank our wine and ate our cheese.

Well, it WAS the season for berry picking in Berlin a few weeks ago. We managed to ride our bikes 10 km from the Berlin CBD to go BERRY PICKING! It is amazing how short a distance you have to ride before you get the 'gee! am i in a city' feeling? We were in the city one minute and the country the next.

The strawberry huts had packed up and the raspberries were drying up on the vines..... but the blueberries were in full swing. Blueberries my favourite! Ich liebe blaubeeren!

I did discover on this trip that riding a bike with a longish skirt with an opening at the side was possibly not the best idea that I had ever had. It was extreme bike riding. I often find it difficult to coordinate fashion with biking riding practicality. Unfortunately I have ripped some of my skirts. Which is very sad. Lots of mending.

ANYWAY.... I made this skirt when I was living in Geraldton and rung my Grandma to find out how to work out the dimensions for a circle skirt. I am now OBSESSED with making circle skirts. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. You will be seeing more of these............... thanks Grandma!
